Peter Boaz Jones was born in Germany in 1944. In 1948 he came to the West Midlands where he has resided since. He had a formal education and did not attend any educational institutions relating to the subject of this book until in his forties when he attended many lectures at the Centre for the Study of Judaism and Jewish/Christian Relations, Selly Oak Colleges, Birmingham. Though, from an early age he has always had a keen interest in theology. He is also a member of The Council of Christian and Jews . He is married with three grown up children who have all gone on to make lives for themselves. 

Originally, he was employed in photography, sales, costing and pricing, and subsequently the transport industry. During the last 17 years he has devoted most of his time in completing The Gospel of the Four. 

His other interests are, Old & New Testament studies, politics, science, geology, history, genealogy, classical & general music, and photography.
