1  THE BEGINNING OF THE GOSPEL

                               THE BEGINNINGS

John 1

1 In the beginning was the Word [Gr. logos], and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

2 The same was in the beginning with God.

The actual beginning of the Bible starts with the physical creation of Gen. 1:1.

But, even before that time, we have another ‘beginning’, which, the last of the Gospels writers, John, brings to our attention. It is the ‘real beginning’, before the universe and any matter came into existence.

All physical matter can be estimated, and, since ‘God’ cannot [or else there could not be God], conversely, therefore we have this ‘beginning’ before the physical creation.

John 1

3 All things were made by Him; and without Him was not anything made that was made.

We now align with Gen. 1:1. This miracle of matter coming out of  nothing as it were - of the universe, and our earth being brought into  existence, becomes the greatest in scope, and panoramic magnitude of all miracles  relating to inanimate nature, with the creation of living nature, afterwards coming out of it.

However, the crowning pinnacle of creation was the creating of man, and  woman out of man - together, to be in the image of God, and thereafter - man - out of woman, equalling humankind.

John 1

4 In Him was life; and the life was the Light of humankind.

5 And the Light shines in darkness; and the darkness  comprehended it not.

Our next beginning is the enlightenment of the mind. God created man and woman, and spoke to them, teaching - enlightening their  minds through  educating the pinnacle of His creation, in an ongoing process.
